Top tuition provider, Explore Learning, takes on Europe

Guildford headquartered, Explore Learning, one of the UK’s leading providers of extra tuition for children aged five to 14, is calling on the public to vote for them in this year’s European Business Awards – a global competition recognizing the very best companies on the continent today.

Explore Learning, which was launched in 2000 by Bill Mills, and opened its first centre in Chelmsford in 2001, has grown exponentially in recent years, now with 121 centres located across the UK. They have won a handful awards for their educational success and business growth, including best Private Tuition Centre Operator in the EducationInvestor Awards 2014 and 2015, two Sunday Times Best Company to work for Awards and a One to Watch in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 2015.

At the European Business Awards, the team were recognised for their excellent customer service, picking up the ‘Award for Customer Focus’. Explore Learning are one of a number of UK-based companies to compete for the title of ‘National Public Champion’ in this year’s European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM, as the public vote opens for the first time.

The team has created a video encouraging viewers to vote for them that you can watch online at the Business Awards Europe website.

“Customer service across all our platforms is so important to us and we are proud to see our NPS score rise from 29 to 43 thanks to hugely successful customer engagement campaigns we have been running across our social media, as well as our wonderful face-to-face service that all our centre staff provides to parents and children.”

Competing against all other country National Champions for the public vote, the company with the most votes will be named ‘National Public Champion’ for the UK on 7th March 2016. The first phase of the online voting is open until 26th February 2016.

The second public vote will see all of the National Public Champions from 32 different countries compete against each other to become the overall European Public Champion. The voting for this takes place between 7th March and 26th April 2016, and the result will be announced at the European Business Awards Gala event in June 2016.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: “Last year the public vote generated over 170,000 votes from across the world. It is a very important part of the Awards as it gives these entrepreneurial companies another way of showcasing their achievements.”

He continued: “So we ask everyone wanting to support their country or business in general to take some time, watch the videos, and cast their vote.”

Separately, the independent judging panel in the European Business Awards will review and score all the video entries plus written entries and select a final top 110 Ruban d’Honneur recipients who will face the judging panels in the final stage of the competition. The overall winner from each category will then be announced at the same time as the European Public Champion at the Gala Event in June.
