Darlington Company Shortlisted for North East Business Award

Darlington based company, Fifteen Digital, have been shortlisted for the Innovation Award at the Teesside Heat of the North East Business Award 2016.

Fifteen Digital provide end to end support through technology, software development, telecommunications and marketing.

The firm will compete alongside a number of North East based companies for this award, with the winner being revealed at the Teesside Heat on 25 February at Teesside University.

The Innovation Award celebrates the most innovative new product or service in the North East, in 2015.

Company Director Rob Adams, said:

“To be shortlisted for his award is very exciting and is such a great recognition for our hard working team. The nomination comes after we developed a track-and-trace solution with long-time client Mercian, one of the UK’s largest potato merchants. Together, we’ve used technology to help stabilise their supply chain and ultimately, move the agriculture industry forward in the way it collects and uses information for better business decisions.

“This Business Management and Business Intelligence solution was the culmination of collaboration between all of our people in systems development, communications, marketing and IT. We’re looking forward to attending this event and I personally feel very proud of my team.“

An all-encompassing range of industries are represented in the shortlists for this year’s awards, with companies from automotive suppliers and training services, to solicitors firms and fast food outlets being selected for the chance to win a regional Business Award.

Finalists were chosen from multiple businesses that entered across 10 categories over three areas including Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside, Tyneside and Northumberland and Teesside.

If Fifteen Digital are successful at the Teesside heat, they will then be selected for the North East Business Awards final which will take place on 21 April.
