Redbrik Estate Agency forms winning partnership with Team GB Sheffield athlete
A South Yorkshire estate agency has teamed up with an elite athlete so she can represent her sport in the Age Group European Championship events.
Redbrik Estate Agency has agreed a sponsorship deal with Fiona Kesteven, who is set to compete for Team GB in the Age Group European Duathlon and Age Group Triathlon Championships later this year.
Fiona, who lives in Millhouses, Sheffield, has been specifically training for triathlon for just 18 months. She is preparing to represent Team GB in Germany in March 2016 at the European Duathlon Championships and in Portugal in May 2016 at the European Triathlon Championships.
Fiona, who currently works as Facilities, Operations and Events Manager at Goodwin Sports Centre, at The University of Sheffield, said: “I am absolutely delighted to be working with Redbrik and to have them on board as one of my sponsors. When I was approached by Redbrik I did some research on the company and they have a great friendly and caring ethos – which made them a great fit for me.
“One of my friends actually sold their property with Redbrik recently and she gave me fantastic feedback on them which was great. I will definitely be displaying the Redbrik logo on my training kit with great pride.
“Nothing is subsidised in my sport which means I am completely self-funded. My kit, training costs, entry fees and travel arrangements all add up. I am determined and motivated person and throw everything into achieving my goals. I really hope to inspire others that even with a very hectic life there is always time for sport.”
Mark Ross, director at Redbrik Estate Agency, commented: “Fiona is an absolute inspiration and it is our pleasure to be providing her with sponsorship.
“It is really important for us as a business to give something back to the communities we serve and we support a number of local and regional sporting and community organisations throughout Sheffield, Chesterfield and North Derbyshire. Indeed Fiona lives just a stone’s throw from our Millhouses office so it a great partnership for us.
“We wish Fiona all the very best for her busy year ahead and I am sure she will be successful in Germany and Portugal at the European Championships.”
