Three companies move into Manchester’s central business district
Three new companies have moved into Manchester’s central business district, snapping up a combined 8,500 sq ft of space at the Zenith Building on Spring Gardens.
Interior architecture practice Space Zero has secured 4,500 sq ft on the building’s mezzanine floor, while business information publisher Bureau Van Dijk has taken 2,298 sq ft on the fourth floor and Palatine Private Equity 1,614 sq ft on the eighth.
The trio of deals was secured by the Manchester office of real estate firm CBRE, alongside joint agent OBI, on behalf of investment company TH Real Estate.
CBRE’s Manchester-based associate director of office agency, Jamie Bottomley, said: “We are delighted to welcome new tenants to The Zenith Building as well as accommodate the expansion of existing ones.
“There are now only two remaining vacant floors and we anticipate these will be snapped up in the coming months as occupiers complete for high quality office accommodation within a well sought-after city centre location.”
Existing tenants at the 12-storey, 74,000 sq ft office building include AEW Architects, pharmaceutical business Octopharma and commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The head of asset management at TH Real Estate, Robin Hutchinson, commented: “These lettings, combined with a further whole floor under offer, have given the building real momentum and have reduced the available space within the building by 57%.
“We’ve recently gained planning permission for a second floor roof terrace, a rare attribute in Manchester’s prime core, which will only strengthen the appeal of The Zenith Building.”
