Elliot Group to deliver 300 homes in £70m Salford scheme
In its first foray into the Greater Manchester property market, prolific Liverpool-based developer Elliot Group is set to deliver a multi-million pound apartment scheme on Greengate, Salford.
The £70m project overlooking the River Irwell will see 300 apartments built across two towers, one of 33 storeys and another comprising 14.
Liverpool-based Falconer Chester Hall has been announced as the project architect for the scheme, which was designed by Manchester firm Jeffrey Bell Architects.
Elsewhere, property development consultancy Cert Property secured the sale of the site to an unnamed vendor, while Manchester-based Urban Bubble has been chosen to oversee the buildings’ lettings and block management.
Elliot Lawless, the managing director of Elliot Group, said: “We wanted a maiden project that demonstrated our capability and our focus on high quality urban design and when the Greengate site came to us ready-packaged with planning permission we didn’t hesitate.
“Manchester’s market continues to grow as it consolidates its position as Britain’s second city and we’re expecting a very positive response when we launch our global sales campaign for the apartments in the first week of March.”
Work on the development is due to commence this summer.
