Manchester entrepreneur plans children’s boutique startup
An entrepreneur from Manchester has revealed plans to establish a new online retail business selling children’s toys, clothing and homeware.
Set to launch later this year, Acorn & Pip will feature products from Buddy and Bear, Fanny & Alexander, Noé & Zoë and other brands geared towards youngsters and their mothers.
The company’s founder, Lucy Estherby, has said the enterprise was inspired by her own experiences as a mum.
She explained: “After the birth of my daughter Eden, the way I saw the world started to evolve.
“I now see it through the eyes of my daughter and what a world it is!”
Lucy continued: “I saw the beauty and imagination that surrounds us and wanted to celebrate this intriguing and exciting world through Acorn & Pip.”
The Acorn & Pip e-commerce site will go live in April.
