Dynistics announces new range of apprenticeship dashboards

Dynistics’ Active Dashboard for Apprenticeships a vital tool in securing funding

To mark this year’s Apprenticeship Week, dashboard technology provider, Dynistics, has announced today its new range of plug and play Apprenticeship Programme dashboard templates for Further Education (FE) colleges. This will allow student colleges to easily provide data-driven proof of the success of their courses, from student satisfaction rates through to skills-development, to secure new apprentice attendees.

Following the Government’s restructuring of the UK Apprenticeship programme, which aims to deliver ‘three million new apprenticeships’ over the next five years, the pressure on FE colleges to attract and recruit apprentices has never been greater. In response to sector feedback, Dynistics has launched a range of dashboard tools designed to give FE providers the ability to easily visual and report back on their apprenticeship data, bringing this together from multiple sources, to analyse statistics such as lead conversions, enrolment figures, success rates by department and current and predicted minimum contract values.

“New Government directives mean colleges have to compete to win apprenticeship placements from employer to ensure their courses are chosen and hence secure apprenticeship funding. FE colleges therefore need to take a more marketing-led approach to promote their offering. This is exactly what our dashboards provide, making it easy and quick to deliver data-driven results,” commented Andy Richardson, CEO, Dynistics.

“By using Dynistics Active Dashboards for our Apprenticeship Programmes, we are not only able to monitor success rates, progression and funding but we can also benchmark our performance against other colleges. The reporting process used to take one day a month and now data is instantaneously available and our users can extract exactly the information they need, however they need it. We are also planning to link local economic market data into our dashboards, enabling us to accurately map skills requirements for local business and compete more effectively,” commented Joanne Taylor, Director of Corporate Services, Bolton College.

Businesses are looking for the reassurances when selecting training providers that they are able to deliver the skills they need to support the on-the-job training they are providing. The new apprenticeship templates from Dynistics’ Active Dashboards range provide the tools colleges need to gain the proof from their data required to attract apprentices, including templates for:

Curriculum Mix – achiever proportion, intake by department and level, enrolment figures Success Rates – by completers, achievers, demographics Funding – value by student, contract, actuals and predictions Conversion Rates – by geographical location, source and date

Matthew Taylor, FE Consultant at Dynistics says, ’Compiling all the information employers require is no easy task, involving many departments painstakingly collating information held not only on multiple spreadsheets but also often disparate software systems. Colleges using our new apprenticeship dashboards eradicate this manual admin process but are also ensuring their apprenticeship data is available in real-time, instantaneously, helping colleges to deliver this information quickly and accurately giving businesses confidence in their choice of provider.“

Dynistics is currently delivering apprenticeship dashboards with the following colleges: Bolton College, Northampton College, Darlington College, South Downs College, Bournville College, West Herts College and Ealing and WLC College.
