Volta nominated for two Datacentre Solutions Awards

The 2016 Datacentre Solutions Awards is set to take place on 12 May 2016, to celebrate and reward product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers within the data centre industry. The annual event works to recognise industry innovation and development presented through the achievements of service providers and their business partners. This year’s awards event encompasses a range of categories that look to acknowledge all key areas of the data centre market in Europe, with a focus on both facilities and information technology.

To celebrate two years of continued success, Volta Data Centres have been shortlisted for two awards that will allow us to shine a light on our innovative developments as well as our co-location services.

The “Data Centre Hosting/Co-location Supplier of the Year” award provides organisations across Europe with the chance to highlight its hosting and co-location services through which organisations are able to provide end users or data centre operators with the best possible service. Similarly the DCS’s new “Data Centre Innovation of the Year” award focuses on celebrating key data centres that have introduced a unique innovative service, solution or product that highlights new approaches to addressing current or future customer needs.

Our unique central London, zone one location provides our customers and business partners with easy access for organisations based in or outside of London. 2015 saw the introduction of “Power by the Hour” and Platinum Power SLA services ensuring our customers receive of 100% data availability; allows them to utilise our facility for any period of time and provides opportunities for future growth within the data centre - with no fixed term contract.

Our flexible services have not only challenged traditional fix term contracts, but placed Volta as a front runner for innovation and co-location services, providing excellent customer service and a strong basis for our nomination entries in the Datacentre Solutions Awards 2016.

Jonathan Arnold, Managing Director, Volta Data Centres said, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for two awards in the upcoming Datacentre Solutions Awards, and hope to continue working towards obtaining and maintaining the highest quality standards in the IT industry for years to come”.
