Different Money up for three national awards

Short-term instalment loan provider, Different Money, has been shortlisted for three national industry awards.

The Knutsford-based lender has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Alternative Lender’, ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ and ‘Customer Service Champion’ awards at the national Credit Today Awards 2016. The business has made the finals in all of the award categories it entered.

Commenting on the firm’s hat trick of shortlists, managing director, Louise Sanders said: “We are all absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for these prestigious awards and particularly proud that we are finalists in every category we entered.

“It’s fantastic to know that smaller businesses like ourselves are able to compete with the industry heavyweights and encouraging to see that representatives from the once much-maligned short term loan industry have made the final cut, further endorsing our stance as a credible alternative to mainstream lenders. We’ve got everything crossed and can’t wait to see if we will continue our success and be winners on the night.”

Now in their 17th year, the Credit Today Awards are the UK’s largest and most prestigious credit awards bringing together senior decision-makers from the length and breadth of the industry. They seek to recognise and reward hard work and best practice in the field of credit and collections.

The 2016 award ceremony will take place on Thursday 12th May at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London and is expected to attract well over 1,000 key figures and professionals from the industry.

Formed in 2013, Different Money has developed from the foundations of affordability-driven options as a short-term alternative to a high street bank or payday lender.
