Conlon launches £2.2m Greater Manchester refurb projects

Building firm Conlon Construction has started work on two Greater Manchester refurbishment projects worth £2.2m.

The Preston-based company has been tasked with giving the Moss Side District Office, which is used by Manchester Learning Disability Partnership, a £1.4m facelift that includes upgrades to its hot water and heating system, new windows, doors and roofing, and parking alterations.

Elsewhere, Conlon is carrying out a £810k fit-out and alteration programme at Etrop Court, an office building in Wythenshawe. The work includes reconfiguring meeting rooms, business hubs and break areas across the site’s ground level and first floor.

Secured through the North West Construction Hub (NWCH) Medium Value Framework (MVF), both projects are due for completion this July.

Conlon Construction’s managing director, Guy Parker, said: “We take great pride in delivering projects within allocated timescales and budgets, without compromising on quality.

“The increased future potential for contract awards will only add to our extensive portfolio of public sector experience.”
