London calling for Bdaily
As many of our eagle-eyed readers may have noted last week, there’s been a few sneaky changes to Bdaily of late.
For the not so eagle-eyed, we have some exciting news for you!
At Bdaily we are always looking for ways to keep things fresh while still being unafraid to experiment and take risks.
We listen to what our readers want whilst we strive to operate against complacency ourselves.
With this in mind, the Bdaily editorial team are pleased to announce the official launch of our new, dedicated London news offering.
In January 2015 we soft launched our South East and London news desk, a foray into an entirely new region that complemented our North East, North West, and Yorkshire and the Humber coverage.
Bringing Bdaily’s inimitable mix of up-to-the-minute regional business news, outspoken opinion and astute advice to the South East region has proven an immense success, with reader numbers growing month by month.
As traffic has streamed in from London and is growing daily, and with so much going on in the city, the time is right to redouble our presence and renew our focus on all the innovative, controversial and exciting things happening in our fair capital.
You can expect the same top notch, up-to-the-minute news, opinion and advice on the site and in your inbox and on the site every day, just with a more laser-guided focus than ever before.
Commenting on the new launch, Bdaily Editor Jamie Hardesty, said: “As a digital technology company first and foremost, we’re able to constantly reshape and redefine how to best present value to our readers.
“We’ve learnt a lot from our South East soft launch and, simply put, we understand that we can be more effective by concentrating our efforts on the capital.
“It’s an exciting time for both ourselves and our readers as we look to further explore the future of online content. Concentrating on London is certainly another step in the right direction for Bdaily.”
London Editor, Billy Wood, added: “With the new tax year and soon a new Mayor, now is as good a time as any to focus more intently on all the exciting developments happening in the capital.
“With big infrastructure projects like Crossrail and HS2 either reaching completion or just kicking off, and glitzy new housing developments and skyscrapers changing the very face of London, the UK’s capital is undergoing a major transformation.
“But it’s not just about the multi billion pound pet projects, and petrodollar apartment complexes. London’s thriving entrepreneurial scene, not to mention its world-leading tech sector, means energetic and innovative startups are popping up on a daily basis.
“And as always, we’ll be there to capture that energy while still delivering all the most important business news from London direct to your inbox.”
