Global-e pairs up with US technology firm in ecommerce deal
Cross-border ecommerce company Global-e has announced a deal with US technology firm Griffin Technology.
The deal will see the London-headquartered FinTech firm provide Griffin with cross-border payment options as the American business eyes up international expansion.
Global-e will provide a range of cross-border ecommerce options, including fully localised pricing, local currencies, local payment methods and multiple shipping options, across all devices.
Founded in 1992 in Nashville, Griffin specialises in mobile and gadget accessories and add-ons, with a range of products stretching from power banks to USB chargers and cases.
Commenting on the new partnership, Nir Debbi, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Global-e, said: “Savvy brands like Griffin Technology are increasingly recognising the huge sales opportunity that cross-border e-commerce is opening up.
“However, without a fully localised shopping experience, retailers will struggle to take full advantage of this opportunity and give shoppers the confidence to make a purchase. To grow sales globally, retailers must ensure they are offering a consistent experience in all markets.
“We’re thrilled to be working with a forward-thinking brand like Griffin to improve the shopping experience for technology consumers internationally.”
Neil Edwards, Managing Director International, at Griffin Technology, added: “We are focussed on growing the Griffin brand internationally and want to see Griffin become the go-to brand for tech accessories worldwide.
“Although we already have many existing customers outside the US, we recognised that we weren’t tapping into this potential customer base fully, especially online.
“To do that, we knew that we needed to offer a consistent and fully localised experience in every market. Global-e’s solution enables us to do just that and we are already seeing a significant increase in international sales as a result.”
