Bradford IT consultancy Advancery to launch Lancaster office
An IT consultancy in Bradford is set to expand into the North West after snapping up a contract with a milk logistics firm based in the region.
Advancery, which operates from an office in Bingley, secured a support contract with Lancaster company S J Bargh and now intends to establish a new base in the area.
The director of Advancery, Alex Mordey, said he believes the contract win has given the IT firm the perfect opportunity to expand.
He said: “SJ Bargh was already a customer of our procurement service, and we’re delighted to have secured them now as a support client.
“We’ve made significant headway into the North West, gaining a number of clients in Preston, Blackburn and now Lancaster.”
As part of its expansion strategy, Alex explained that Advancery will now establish an office in Lancaster, allowing the firm to “continue to provide a quick response and high standard of service”.
SJ Bargh runs its UK and Ireland operations from its headquarters in Lancaster, employing more than 300 people across a number of facilities.
Its fleet of 150 vehicles collects milk from sites in the North West, the Midlands and Wales.
