Liverpool entrepreneur expands celebrity management business with new Camden office
A celebrity management firm launched by Liverpool entrepreneur Luke Mills has expanded its national footprint with a new office in Camden.
Misfits Celebrity Management has set up shop in London’s Interchange complex to drive its continued growth in the paid social media advertising market.
The company’s recently appointed new business development manager, Chris Henderson, will be based at the Camden office. Bringing years of experience in TV and traditional display advertising to the role, Chris will lead Misfits’ push to target bigger brands as they migrate away from older forms of advertising in favour of paid social media advertising.
With its head office on Old Hall Street in Liverpool, Misfits has expanded tenfold in the past two years, opening new offices and launching a number of subsidiaries, including Misfits Publishing - a publisher of diet and exercise books endorsed by Misfits’ celebrity clients.
Misfits has worked with hundreds of celebrities, including Marnie Simpson and Holly Hagan of Geordie Shore fame, former Big Brother contestant Chanelle Hayes and The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Sims.
Misfits’ managing director, Luke Mills, said: “The rest of 2016 is absolutely crucial for Misfits and with the addition of our new London premises guided by the steady and experienced hand of Chris Henderson, I am determined to continue the good work already achieved with our existing clients.
“I’m proud to say we’ve made millionaires of the shareholders from startup online retailers and helped others grow more than they ever thought possible.”
Speaking further, Luke said he believes the secret to his company’s success so far is the fact it measures return on investment (ROI) based on sales.
He continued: “I’m especially proud of one beauty brand we’ve worked with, where my team were able to turn a £1,750 investment into over £28k of sales as a direct of our advertising.
“That’s over 1600% ROI. Needless to say, that particular brand has used our services countless times since, and while we’ve not seen 1600% ROI again, we consistently return over 100% in sales every single time.”
Now, Luke plans to grow the Misfits brand further with a new US-based operation before the end of the year.
