Tyneport Coatings create role to achieve growth targets
NOF Energy member, Tyneport Coatings has appointed experienced business development professional, Kris Yorke to help realise ambitious growth plans.
The South Shields-based company, which manufactures compounds and coatings used in industries including oil, gas, water, marine and construction, created the role of Business Development Manager to secure contracts from outside of its loyal customer base.
Thirty-Nine-year-old Kris brings with him a wealth of knowledge, which has been cultivated during 15 years in business development and operations management positions in both the up and mid-stream sectors of the oil and gas industry.
He will be responsible for identifying and converting opportunities for growth, creating and submitting tenders, pitching to potential clients, and maintaining strong working relationships with existing customers.
Kris said: “Tyneport Coatings is a relatively small company, however has extremely ambitious plans to build on its solid foundations. Its high-quality and technically proficient products have earned a great reputation in the industry, and I’m confident these will transfer well into new markets.”
