Marketing duo target startups and high-growth firms with new agency Capero
Two marketing entrepreneurs have teamed up to launch Capero, a new agency geared towards startups and high-growth online businesses.
Richard Gregory and Simon Ward embarked on their latest business venture with a view to helping innovative and disruptive firms unlock growth.
Capero, which offers startup, early-stage and full-venture service levels, will use a mix of branding, PR and digital marketing to help entrepreneurs increase sales through improved brand value and a more active approach towards targeting prospective customers.
Discussing the launch, Simon said: “We have a genuine passion for helping disruptive ventures grow. There is a gap in the market for bespoke support to help online businesses to build their brands, generate leads and accelerate their growth so they are in a strong position to attract a future buyer or head for an IPO.
“Capero will support innovative online ventures in the growth stages to help them to gain exposure and add real brand value.”
Having worked for brand consultancies and marketing firms across the UK and US over the last 20 years, Simon has experience in growing and selling off digital enterprises.
Richard, meanwhile, holds 18 years of digital experience with businesses based in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. The non-executive chairman of tech firm Ruler Analytics, Richard is a member of the Manchester Digital trade association and is also known as the co-founder of digital marketing conference SAScon.
Richard said of his latest enterprise: “We understand the importance of getting all sides of the investment equation right, which is why Capero will support businesses through their growth journey from startup to full venture.
“It’s no secret that growth matters for any company and that online companies grow faster than traditional firms.”
He added: “Sustaining that growth requires investment in the right mix of PR and brand development and that’s where Capero brings real value.”
Capero is headquartered on Portland Street in Manchester.
