Trains from Hell helps claim train refunds

The app which is free on the Apple App Store will soon be available on Android phones after months of research and planning, and was designed and developed by Dreamr’s in-house team. Dreamr, the Manchester app development and design agency, was commissioned by Trains from Hell, to design and develop the iPhone application of the same name, which enables commuters to claim refunds for delayed trains quickly and easily.

Ending the constant frustration of a cumbersome and complicated refund process was the inspiration behind the app’s concept. “We can’t ensure that every train runs on time” said Mylo Kaye, Dreamr Co-Founder and Head of Digital. “What we have done is resolve the problem of how to obtain the due compensation which consumers deserve”.

Currently £49 Million of potential refunds goes unclaimed, largely because the process is so convoluted and lengthy.

The Trains from Hell iPhone app solves this problem by letting the traveller upload their ticket, while the intelligent software inside the app constantly checks the route for delays, immediately notifying users if the train they were travelling on was delayed.

Trains from Hell founder George Sullivan commented: “Now, claiming for a refund is simple, quick and mobile friendly. We are giving consumers the chance to start getting some of their hard-earned money back”.
