Sponsorship deal sees Bolton coffee machine company rijo42 debut at Le Mans
Commercial coffee machine supplier rijo42 is set to make its debut at Le Mans, the world’s oldest endurance sports car race, after signing a sponsorship deal with three-time winner Strakka Racing.
As part of the agreement, Bolton-based rijo42’s branding will feature on the team’s driver suits, cars, garage boarding and trucks throughout the 24-hour race.
Additionally, Strakka will use the company’s machines to serve rijo42 coffee at the race events.
Steve Robinson, rijo42’s national sales manager, commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for rijo42; not only will it provide an unprecedented level of brand recognition nationally and internationally, but it will also give us the opportunity to break into a prestigious sector.”
For rijo42, the sponsorship will deliver racing-based staff team building days, complimentary visits to Strakka’s factory in Silverstone and the opportunity to experience racing in a Renault R.S. 01 GT.
Speaking further, Steve said: “I’m sure our staff will be looking forward to the unique insight into the workings behind team Strakka.
“The team building exercises will also be incredibly beneficial for all of us, not just the rijo petrol heads.”
He added: “Strakka have provided a fantastic incentive to all of us, including attending Silverstone and Le Mans as VIP guests, we’re also planning to donate some of these tickets to charity.”
