Marketing firm Freshfield to double capacity with new Preston office
Marketing agency Freshfield is set to expand its North West footprint with a new larger base in Preston’s Winckley Square district.
The company will double its capacity when it takes up 3,325 sq ft of space at 12 Winckley Square on a five-year lease.
Relocating from a smaller unit within the same building, Freshfield plans to carry out refurbishment of the new office ahead of the move.
Managing director Simon Turner said: “The move will strengthen our infrastructure giving us more client meeting rooms, creative thinking space and capacity to expand.
“Winckley Square gives us an ideal location to service our clients across the North and UK. We’re a few hops away from the rail network which gets us into Manchester in 35 minutes and in London and Edinburgh in just over two hours.”
He continued: “As a micro city, Preston continues to make great progress with millions being invested into the city including a restoration of Winckley Square, which will help transform this particular area and leverage further investment.
“Our people also enjoy working in Winckley Square and want to remain here and this was an important factor in our decision to stay here and invest.”
Established in 1999, Freshfield underwent a management buyout in 2004. Today, the £1.2m-turnover company employs a team of 20 and provides marketing services for regional clients such as law firm Napthens, Lancashire County Council, paint supplies firm Sherwin Williams and the University of Central Lancashire.
Simon continued: “We have growth plans but they are considered and sustainable.
“The move and refurbishment will give us further inspiration and energy to take the business forward.”
