Diversity Travel announces £9m turnover growth
Travel management firm Diversity Travel has achieved a seven-figure turnover increase over the past 12 months.
The company, which has offices in Manchester, London and Melbourne, has seen its turnover leap by £9m since July last year.
Over the last three years, Diversity said its sales have grown by 60%, with revenues rising from £34.6m in 2013 to £56.6m by the close of 2015. Its workforce, meanwhile, has been strengthened with 42 hires.
Established in 2007, today Diversity Travel provides travel management services to clients across the academic, charity and not-for-profit sectors.
Much of the firm’s recent growth has been attributed to framework appointments in the education sector, including the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium. Additionally, Diversity has secured new contracts with the London School of Economics, the London-based V&A Museum and the University of Warwick.
Diversity Travel’s managing director, Christopher Airey, said: “Over the past 12 months we have invested heavily in a number of areas of the business.
“We have strengthened our online proposition resulting in an increase in online bookings and have launched an award winning piece of proprietary software, Instaquote.”
He continued: “Instaquote is able to pull the best rates from suppliers to produce one itinerary ensuring the disparate elements of a trip are handled efficiently and presented in one picture to the client.”
As part of its strategic plan, Christopher explained, Diversity will be expanding its offer over the coming months with new products and services.
