Teesside foursome go it alone to launch new law firm
Branching off from a large regional practice, four Teesside legal entrepreneurs have gone it alone to launch their own firm - Core Legal.
Headed up by former BHP Law workers Sally Hare, Keith Ahmed, Claire Hewitt and Jo Anderson, the new company is dedicated to residential conveyancing, wills, trusts and probate work,
Opening its offices on Preston Farm Business Park in Stockton, the four have laid down what they describe as ‘ambitious growth plans’, with recruitment already underway.
Specialising in property services for those buying, selling and re-mortgaging, the new law firm’s legal teams are in place working with local clients, estate agents and national conveyancing panels.
Core Legal managing director Sally Hare, 33, was previously Head of Private Client Services at BHP Law, managing a team of 40 staff dedicated to residential conveyancing.
Sally, who started her career as a solicitor in 2008 and has since specialised in property, said: “We’re naturally delighted with the support our clients and referrers have shown us.
“We’re all working with the same aim and that is to drive the business forward and to grow our business here in Teesside, creating new jobs and delivering first choice legal services to our clients.”
Marketing director Claire Hewitt, 40, added: “The property market is moving fast. Processes are becoming more streamlined and there are exciting, new advances in technology all the time.
“We’re keen to be part of those changes and are already working with a number of providers to be able to offer our clients a better experience when buying and selling their property.”
