Property sector co-working space to open on Manchester’s Princess Street
Urban regeneration and investment firm Watch This Space (WTS) is moving into offices in central Manchester as it prepares to launch a new property co-working environment.
Known as That Space, the concept will provide flexible, collaborative space for property sector firms at 31-33 Princess Street, where WTS has signed up for 1,800 sq ft on a 5-year lease.
Businesses with up to four employees will be able to sign up to That Space for an all-inclusive monthly fee, which provides access to meeting rooms, breakout areas, bike storage facilities, showers and evening yoga classes.
The concept is able to house up to 20 firms.
Discussing the plans for That Space, founder Michelle Rothwell, said: “That Space aims to challenge the traditional office concept and meet the expectations of Generations X and Y.
“By creating a flexible workspace with quirks such as free beers and living walls, the idea is that like-minded organizations can come together, collaborate and grow.”
She continued: “We’ve made the decision to move there so we can be really hands-on.
“We’ve had good interest already and I’m really excited about creating this hub that property companies can benefit from.”
Speaking further, Michelle is confident That Space will appeal to a range of occupiers, including London firms looking for a Northern satellite office.
She added: “That Space is the first in a long line of concepts that Watch This Space will be launching in our mission to provide inspiring places to work for forward thinking, dynamic organisations.”
