The new homes on Chester Road, Helsby

Harbur Construction delivers £1.5m Helsby resi scheme

Building firm Harbur Construction has completed work on a project to create 13 new homes in Helsby, Cheshire.

The £1.5m development comprises five three-bed homes, seven four-bed properties and an apartment arranged in a courtyard layout.

Harbur delivered the newbuilds on Chester Road at the former site of the Robin Hood Hotel pub, which was demolished after being set alight in 2011.

Constructed on behalf of property developer Halebank Developments, the homes feature landscaped gardens and represent a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced housing styles.

Halebank will now make the homes available for open-market sale.

Richard Hutchinson, the managing director of Harbur Construction, said: “The completion of this scheme marks the transformation of a site which was a blemish on an otherwise picturesque and desirable area of Cheshire.

“Cheshire Plains has not only helped bring this disused land back into use, but has also helped meet the need for high quality homes for local families and couples.”
