Silentnight bowled over by partnership with LCCC
Barnoldswick-based bed maker, Silentnight is set to continue its partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club for the 2016 season and will sponsor the upcoming Lancashire Lightning V Birmingham Bears NatWest T20 Blast match at Emirates Old Trafford on Friday 29th July.
The partnership will see cricket fans get the chance to watch the match from the comfort of a VIP bed area, known as the ‘best seat in the house’, in a collaboration with Heart Radio. Silentnight will also be helping Lancashire County Cricket Club players sleep well and be on top of their game for the rest of the season by providing them with new beds after the match.
Winners of the competition - which launches this weekend - will experience the match from the comfort of a Silentnight bed live at Emirates Old Trafford.
Silentnight’s marketing director Nick Booth said: “We’re very proud of our Lancashire roots and being able to support an elite local team like Lancashire County Cricket Club, for another season, is a real honour.
“Sleeping well plays a big part in athletes’ performance, so the partnership is a great fit. We are also providing the playing squad with Silentnight beds to ensure they get a great night’s sleep and hopefully promotion at the end of the season!”
Business development manager at Lancashire County Cricket Club, Warren Hegg, said: “As a former player I can appreciate just how important being well rested is ahead of a match. The players got some great tips from Silentnight last year and they’re looking forward to the partnership again this season; as a club we’re incredibly grateful to Silentnight for their continued support.”
