PR firm No Brainer shortlisted for prestigious award

Warrington’s award-winning creative PR and communications agency No Brainer is celebrating its first year in business with a place on the shortlist of this year’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North West PRide Awards.

The PR, social media and content marketing company has been shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy’ category and will compete against five other North West-based agencies for the prestigious title.

The recognition comes following a highly successful 12 months for the young start-up firm. Founded by Gary Jenkins and Lee Cullen in 2015, the agency has gone on to pick up a number of high-profile client wins and was recently crowned ‘New Business of the Year’ at the prestigious Warrington Business Awards.

“It has been a rollercoaster of a year for our young business, with plenty of long hours and late nights,” said director and co-founder Gary Jenkins. “But to be in the running for this award – especially as we’re up against other agencies that have been established for several years –really makes all those hours worthwhile.”

“The CIPR awards represent the gold standard in our industry so we’re over the moon to make the shortlist,” added fellow director and co-founder Lee Cullen.

“We’ve achieved a lot in a very short time frame but we’ve only just started out on our journey.

“Our first year has been hard work but a lot of fun too and we’re looking forward to building on our success in the months and years that lie ahead.”

The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate outstanding work being delivered by communications agencies and in-house teams for clients and employers across the UK. The CIPR PRide North West awards will take place on Thursday 3 November at The Midland hotel in Manchest
