Tooting entrepreneur beating Beats on Amazon launches six-figure crowdfund

The London-based entrepreneur behind whose tech accessories are currently outselling Beats by Dre on Amazon has announced a new crowdfunding campaign as he looks to expand both online and offline.

Zamir Cajee, who is from Tooting, launched iQualTech in 2013 with the aim of providing reliable, quality tech products through online marketplaces like Amazon after he noticed a gap in the market.

Starting with just a £7,000 credit limit on his credit card, Zamir has now grown the business worldwide in tandem with his wife and best friend, and currently sits in the top 1% of Amazon sellers with a 100% performance rating in the past year.

Now Zamir wants to grow his burgeoning brand with the launch of a new crowdfunding drive on Seedrs which has been announced today.

The £100k crowdfund in exchange for 3% equity will be used to fund the startup’s expansion into offline marketing and expand its range of speakers, headphones and other electronic accessories which is set to surpass 100 product lines by Christmas.

Founder Zamir Cajee said that Seedrs ‘customer-oriented’ ethos played a big part in them being selected for the tech firm’s crowdfund.

He said: “It’s really important to us that our investors have the opportunity to become part of our team. We love the idea of having lots of investors who can help us to grow the brand further.

“Investors will enjoy exclusive discounts and promotions on iQualTech products that they can share with friends, and they will also gain access to an exciting new investor affiliate program, through which they can earn a commission for any new customers introduced to the brand.”

Zamir, who quit his job as managing director at a digital marketing agency to start the firm, belives iQualTech is ‘only scratching the surface’ of what it is capable of, and that inviting external investors as part of its crowdfund will help it expand further.

He added: “We could continue on as we have been, but we now realise that we can achieve so much more by inviting external investors to be a part of our future success.”
