CRM software firm rais chosen for MassChallenge accelerator
Software firm rais has won a place on the startup accelerator programme MassChallenge UK.
As one of 100 companies participating, rais will have access to office space, mentoring and a network of experienced entrepreneurs, investors and corporate partners.
The founder of rais, Will Young, is confident the move will help the firm shore up its growth plans over the coming year.
Will said: “We’re excited to have been chosen to join MassChallenge UK.
“Full of creative businesses people, MassChallenge UK has worked with some incredible individuals and businesses alike, helping them to kick-start the next phase in their development.”
He added: “Linking up with the team will help us to develop our strategy, focus for future investment plans and hone our business development skills over the coming 12 months.”
Blossom Street-based rais provides a customer relationship management (CRM) software platform that enables businesses to use customer data to improve conversion, retention and acquisition.
Diane Perlman, the CMO of MassChallenge, believes the firm’s second cohort of UK startups has “the ability and ideas to change the world”.
She commented: “We are grateful to our engaged global community of alumni, mentors, and partners provide the support and access that early-stage startups need to be successful.”
MassChallenge currently runs accelerator programmes in London, Boston, Jerusalem, Mexico City and Lausanne.
This year, the participants of MassChallenge UK were selected from over 1,000 applicants spanning range of industries and geographies, including 69 countries.
The programme will culminate with an award ceremony on December 1, when entrepreneurs will pitch their startups with the hope of winning up to £50k in individual awards.
