Sheffield tech startup launches world’s slimmest iPhone power case
Phoenix, the Sheffield-based tech startup, is launching its slimmest iPhone Power Case, which iPhone’s 140% extra battery life with a case 3.8mm depth and 2mm thick.
With a 140% longer battery life, the iPhone will have a capacity to provide an extra 48 hours standby, 5 hours audio, 15 hours 3G talk time, 12 hours video, 11 hours web browsing and 4 hours 3D gaming.
Laura Hodgkinson, founder of Phoenix said: “The idea for the Phoenix started in 2015 when we were tired of fighting for chargers in the office, at work, college or at home.
“The famous line of “what percentage battery do you have left?” determined who got the charger next, and it seemed the chargers went missing like household socks.
“We thought what if we could conceal an iPhone recharge battery within a sleek slim phone case, and still offer protection. That’s exactly what we did. We’re over the moon that our case can offer double battery life, meaning there’ll be even more time to FaceTime, Tweet, check Facebook or catch them all on Pokamon GO.”
The current iPhone 6 Plus contains a 2700 mAH battery built-in, however Phoenix adds an additional 2800mAh. Even when emailing, playing music, using Bluetooth and texting all day, an iPhone with Phoenix will not need charging for at least 16 hours.
