Wirral firm Whitfield Business Support celebrates ‘best quarter to date’

Wirral-based SME incubator Whitfield Business Support is celebrating a rise in new business.

The Heswall firm has reported attracting over 20 new clients ranging from startups to larger SMEs in the last quarter.

Newcomers to Whitfield, which provides office space alongside its business incubator service, include coffee shop chain Rubens, wine merchants Whitmore & White and running accessories retailer The Runners Hub.

Whitfield is led by directors Nik Ellis and Justine McLaughlin.

Commenting on the company’s expanding client base, Justine said: “We have experienced consistent growth since setting up last year.

“However, this last quarter has been our best to date by far. We have now worked with more than 60 clients, more than 20 of which have been secured in the last three months.”

She continued: “We have also submitted 11 proposals for further contracts.”

Speaking further, Justine said Whitfield is encouraged by the range of businesses it has attracted, adding: “We are helping firms of all sizes across sectors. We believe a large part of this is down to the broad range of support services we provide.

“We are also witnessing a surge in business from existing clients who initially came to us for support with logo’s and branding and now due to growth need new websites and social media management.”

Earlier this year, Whitfield Business Support revealed plans to use a £150k cash injection to establish a new office on Pensby Road, adjacent to its existing Heswall site.
