Law firm Hillyer McKeown embarks on recruitment drive following contract win

North West law firm Hillyer McKeown is embarking on a fresh recruitment drive after being appointed to a conveyancing panel.

The company will create up to a dozen new jobs after being selected by Property Butler to provide its estate agent clients with residential property legal services.

Conveyancing is just one of several departments at Hillyer McKeown that have grown during the past year.

The firm, which operates from offices in Liverpool, Wirral, Chester and North Wales, has seen its staff numbers rise from 65 to nearly 90 over the last 18 months.

Hillyer McKeown’s residential conveyancing head of operations, Tricia Lonorgan, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to Property Butler’s prestigious panel of award-winning solicitors.

“We have invested heavily in putting in place the best possible people and systems to ensure our conveyancing clients receive the best possible service.”

She continued: “Buying and selling your home is the biggest decision most people make. Estate agents and their clients need to know that their conveyancing service will be fast, responsive and cost effective.”

“As a result of panel appointments like Property Butler, we are actively looking for up to a dozen new recruits to join the team.”

The new positions available will include posts for solicitors, paralegals, legal assistants and conveyancing executives.

Property Butler director Tim Price commented: “Conveyancing is one of the most important aspects of any property transaction but one which traditionally provides estate agents with the biggest headache.

“By only working with award-winning solicitors committed to the highest possible standards, we are enabling estate agents to improve the quality of service they offer home buyers.”

He added: “Hillyer McKeown has been selected as a solicitor partner because of its commitment to client care, communication, innovation and the latest technology.”
