SVC2UK Scale Up Club begins hunt for 2016 cohort

The annual Silicon Valley Comes to the UK event has announced that applications are now open for its Scale Up Club programme.

Targeted at European scales up have more than 10 employees and are experiencing a minimum of 20% year-on-year growth, the event provides mentoring, networking and workshops with some of America’s biggest tech entrepreneurs.

The London and Partners event, which is now in its tenth year, takes place between 1st and 4th November with talks and events planned across London, Cambridge and Manchester, with support from big name partners Mastercard, Google, Barclays, KPMG amongst others.

Speakers at this year’s event include Palantir Technology’s Joe Lonsdale, David Hornik of August Capital and Co-Founder of Tom Tom Corinne Vigreux along with the CEOs of Graze and Just Eat.

The not-for-profit event has been running since 2006 and aims to support disruptive innovation in the UK and European and foster closer ties between the continent and Silicon Valley.

Previous participants include UK tech luminaries Skyscanner, Transferwise and Swift Key.
