Lancaster marketing firm SearchQuest expands with new office and digital wing

Marketing firm SearchQuest has expanded and moved into a new office in Lancaster.

The opening of the office, located two doors down from SearchQuest’s original HQ on Church Street, coincided with the launch of the company’s new SQ digital wing.

Commenting on the expansion, the firm’s chief executive and founder, Vilayte Essa, said: “It’s about evolving as a company and how, as a brand name, we want to show that we are an established full service agency.

“SearchQuest will still exist as the company itself and SQ digital comes as a part of that. We will potentially launch new niche ventures in the future as well.”

He added: “For instance, we currently do a lot of hosting for websites. In the future it might mean that we launch a specific hosting brand.”

The launch of SQ digital formed part of a workshop run for more than 20 businesses at the new Church Street headquarters, during which Google Premier Partner SearchQuest discussed the evolution of digital marketing.

Sean Moore, Google’s representative for the seminar, commented: “It’s good to see SearchQuest being an innovative company and pioneering the changes in digital marketing.

“I’m pleased I could be here to help launch SQ digital with the SearchQuest team.”

The new office was officially opened by Rodney Banks-Lyon of Lancaster-based jewellers Banks Lyon, a long-standing SearchQuest client, along with two representatives of search giant Google.
