International logistics firm launches new storage box network across London
ByBox, the international technology company, has launched a new network of storage boxes in the capital that it claims will help London firm’s remedy their supply chain issues.
Aimed at businesses which deal in business critical stock and parts, the 25 smart boxes have been deployed in what the firm describes as ‘strategic location’ within London’s congestion zone.
The Oxfordshire-headquartered business, which has developed a range of storage and logistics products, said that the boxes are aimed at businesses in large metropolitan cities who want to manage their inventory better.
The boxes, dubbed ByBox Metro, allow field engineers to retrieve critical parts and inventory from secure locations before 7am, providing businesses with the ability to fully track and trace deliveries and return items to the same storage boxes if necessary.
Stuart Miller, CEO and co-founder of ByBox, commented: “One of the most frequent requests we get from companies in busy city centres, is for help in tackling the stock loss caused by inefficiencies in their current supply chains.
“With many offices now banning on-site deliveries there is a huge logistical issue for engineers trying to track down the critical parts they need to complete a job.
“We developed ByBox Metro so that businesses and field engineers could operate more efficiently, ultimately enhancing service levels to the end customer.”
