Tomorrow’s four top floors will house a 112-bed Premier Inn

MediaCityUK’s Tomorrow scheme to launch this week

An new creative workspace hub for SMEs at MediaCityUK is being unveiled this Thursday (September 29).

Known as Tomorrow, the £20m development will comprise a hotel and office space designed for enterprises in the digital, creative, media and broadcasting sectors.

Workspace at Tomorrow is spread over six floors. The ground level features co-working areas for meetings and hot-desking, in addition to a retail operator due to be announced soon.

Four of Tomorrow’s upper floors, meanwhile, will house a 112-bed hotel operated by Premier Inn.

MediaCityUK MD Stephen Wild, said: “These pictures show what an exciting new hub Tomorrow is for creative and digital firms as well as visitors of MediaCityUK.

“It is designed to be a highly flexible space – a key consideration for occupiers in the rapidly changing world of workspace.”

He continued: “The Premier Inn is also a fantastic addition to MediaCityUK as both a thriving business and leisure destination.

“Our recently approved plans to double in size over the next 10 years, means more hotels, bars and restaurants will be vital to the success of creating a fantastic environment in which people can live, work and play.”

MediaCityUK is currently home to broadcasters BBC North and ITV, long-running soap opera Coronation Street, TV studio facility dock10 and more than 250 creative and tech SMEs.
