Leeds Video Company Celebrates 10 Years of Success

Leeds-based creative agency Fresh Cut is celebrating ten years of success at the forefront of the city’s digital revolution with a host of new client wins.

The specialist video company, which has offices in Yorkshire and London, opened in Leeds in 2006 and has produced films for some of the biggest brands in the country, including the National Lottery, Adidas and Ask Italian.

Fresh Cut produces videos for lifestyle, sports and food brands and this year won contracts with Team GB and British Triathlon to work with some of the UK’s biggest talent leading up to Rio 2016, including Tom Daley and Louis Smith.

The team travelled to Brazil to film with Team GB as they made their final preparations for the 2016 Olympics. Fresh Cut worked at the team’s training camp in Belo Horizonte to film a short documentary piece for BBC One.

The team has also stuck to its Yorkshire roots, working with local athletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee to film a series of videos for the new British Triathlon website.

To celebrate its decade of work in the city, the company is giving away six of its highly creative videos for local businesses or charities throughout Yorkshire, to support local people running their own independent businesses.

Rick Frier, Creative Director at Fresh Cut, said: “The last decade has been an awesome journey for Fresh Cut, we’ve built up a huge team of creative talent and we’ve been commissioned by some of the UK’s biggest brands and agencies. Seeing our client base grow as it has done this year is testament to the hard work from all the team.”

“To give something back to the city and support those who are starting out, just as we did ten years ago, we’re offering six local businesses a free video to help showcase their business to new online audiences. Those interested can visit freshcutcreative.co.uk/craftedinleeds to enter.”

Fresh Cut works with businesses large and small, from national organisations and charities, to local independents in its native Yorkshire.
