Manchester City sign extended EA Sports deal

Manchester City have signed a new multi-year deal with games developer EA Sports.

The agreement will see the company remain in place as MCFC’s official gaming partner – a post it has held for the last five years.

The SVP of partnerships at club owner City Football Group, Damian Willoughby, welcomed the renewal.

He said: “At Manchester City we are incredibly proud of the partnership we have built with EA Sports over the last five years.

“We both seek to challenge ourselves year in and year out to ensure our fans have more opportunities to engage with the Club and the game they love.”

He added: “Extending our partnership means we can continue to work together to provide supporters with unforgettable memories and can’t miss experiences that combine the best of football on and off the pitch.”

To kick off the extended partnership, City’s recent eSports signing Kieran ‘Kez’ Brown is today (September 29) exploring the history of EA’s FIFA football game series live on Facebook.
