Million-pound pub owned by Chris Evans comes to market
London-headquartered property company Fleurets has announced it is helping former Top Gear presenter Chris Evans’ to sell a West Sussex pub which he currently owns with his business partners.
The Mulberry Inn at Chiddingfold is currently being marketed with a guide price of £1,150,000 which is jointly owned by the Radio 2 DJ along with partners Kirit Doshi and Camilla Hanson.
Sitting on the edge of the South Downs National Park and Surrey Hills, the property consists of a bar area and formal restaurant space, along with patio areas, a lawned garden and children’s play area.
The leisure property firm said that the broadcaster had hoped to run ‘at arms-length’ but had become increasingly involved with the pub after purchasing a residential site nearby.
Following the property coming to market, Kate Dowd of Fleurets commented: “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to market the Mulberry, which currently provides food and beverage offerings as well as accommodation in the form of three en suite letting rooms.
“Furthermore, the property boasts a prominent site in a beautiful area with exceptional facilities.”
