Hoowla Founder Shortlisted for National Awards

Adam Curtis, founder and Managing Director of legal software company Hoowla (http://www.hoowla.com), is delighted to have been chosen as a finalist for Technology Entrepreneur of the Year in the Entrepreneur Wales Awards 2016.

The prestigious Entrepreneur Wales Awards, produced by the organisers of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and the publishers of Fresh Business Thinking, acknowledges and celebrates the hard work and inspiring stories of Welsh entrepreneurs and businesses.

Curtis founded Hoowla, a cloud based case management solution for all aspects of the legal industry, in 2013. Despite being a young company Hoowla is well known and recognised both nationally and internationally and is used by hundreds of users each day, including estate agents, solicitors, mortgage brokers and members of the general public.

Adam Curtis said: “I am honoured to have made the shortlist for this year’s awards. I am very passionate about software development and how technology can be used to improve the day to day aspects of business. I am lucky to have such a strong team behind me, who have been instrumental in making Hoowla a major player within our industry.”

The shortlisted entries are now being decided by this year’s judges, which include GoCompare’s Hayley Parsons, ‘Secret Millionaire’ entrepreneur Kevin Green and Just Eat CEO David Buttress, ahead of the awards ceremony on 9th November.

Alix Popham, former Welsh rugby international and co-founder of the Entrepreneur Wales Awards, said: “The first Entrepreneur Wales Awards in 2015 was a fantastic celebration of the talent Wales has to offer. Wales is really making a name for itself in business and entrepreneurship, and we have no doubt that the entries will give plenty of optimism for the future.”
