Sale Sharks sign Family Stand sponsor

Following a five-year break, rugby union side Sale Sharks have welcomed Printerland.co.uk back as sponsor of the Family Stand at the club’s AJ Bell Stadium.

Altrincham-based printer reselling business Printerland.co.uk formerly sponsored the Cheadle end of the club’s previous home ground at Edgely Park.

The firm was also part of the corporate family that helped to build sell-out crowds and a Premiership winning team back in 2006.

James Kight, co-owner of Printerland.co.uk, said it felt like the right time for the company to make a return.

He said: “We were incredibly proud to be partners of Sale Sharks back in the Edgeley Park days, however it truly feels like a new era for the club and we’re excited to return to the fold and support the team back to the top, both on and off the pitch.”

Earlier this year, Sale Sharks announced new owners and welcomed fresh faces to its board of directors.

Graham Vickers, who co-owns Printerland.co.uk with James, commented: “It is great to be back involved with Sale Sharks.

“We do a lot of work with our local community and schools in the region and we look forward to extending our partnership with Sharks to support these projects and introduce rugby to a new audience that may not previously had the chance to attend a match.”

Sale Sharks’ commercial director and club ambassador, Mark Cueto, said: “It is fantastic to see Printerland.co.uk back on our stand.

“Having been a big sponsor in the past, it is great to have them on board again and we look forward to working with them over the upcoming season.”

The Printerland.co.uk deal follows a partnership signed with Manchester city centre hotel INNSIDE by Melia Manchester in July.
