US mattress innovator Casper opens Covent Garden pop up
Overworked Londoners can now grab a quick power nap in one of the capital’s busiest shopping quarters after US mattress startup Casper launched its Casper House pop up.
The new experiential showcase in Covent Garden’s Royal Opera House Arcade is open from today (Thursday 6 October), housing the firm’s award-winning mattresses and pillow-in-a-pillow concept and will be open throughout autumn and winter.
Visitors will be able to view Casper’s range of products, which launched in the UK in August, from 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday, and can even book in a nap session on the bedding company’s website.
Founded in New York in 2014, the brand has enjoyed massive growth following backing from major stars including Nas and actor Tobey Maguire, and has already expanded into Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
Constantin Eis, Co-Founder and Global Managing Director for Casper says: “Since our very recent launch in the UK, we want to invite Londoners to be our guests at Casper House, take a break from their busy lives and experience our perfect mattress, pillow and sheet.
“Our guests will have the opportunity to finally ‘meet’ the original and inimitable mattress-in-a-box.”
The new pop up venue comes after Casper launched its UK operations earlier in the year from its new Paddington base.
