London-based Temple Group highlights Northern commitment with Manchester launch
Property and infrastructure consultancy Temple Group has highlighted its commitment to the North of England with a new office in Manchester.
The London-headquartered firm will share the Northern base with sister company The Ecology Consultancy.
The move, which forms part of Temple’s wider 2020 growth strategy, will see the firm’s associate director Peter Cole head up the Manchester office with the support of The Ecology Consultancy’s associate director Dr Sarah Cox.
Temple MD Chris Fry said: “As a fast growing UK owned consultancy we are really pleased to be able to grow a team in the city at such an important time.
“I guess you could say we are part of the growing trend of ‘northshoring’ – but more importantly I am sure that it will bring us opportunities to collaborate with different organisations and bring in talented individuals from across Greater Manchester.”
Peter, who has worked with Temple for four years, commented: “I’m really excited about both the transport infrastructure and property development scene in Greater Manchester and across the Northern Powerhouse at the moment.
“Manchester is a wonderful city and I look forward to bringing our specialist noise, air quality and ecology services, and Temple’s bespoke style of environmental planning, where we look to form a partnership with the client and act as a trusted advisor and representative on all environmental matters”.
Earlier this year, a team led by Temple was commissioned by HS2 Ltd to carry out a sustainability analysis of high speed corridor options as part of the Northern Powerhouse Rail programme.
