QPR’s three year deal with Australian apparel company is a Football League first

Championship side QPR have announced a three-year deal with Australian apparel company Supacore in what is being touted as an English Football League first.

The partnership sees the Australian brand become the London club’s exclusive compression partner, making Supacore the first Aussie apparel brand to do so across England’s top divisions.

It comes after the west London club trialled the brand’s range of compression products which can assist athletes with training and recovery, with its first team and academy players in the last 12 months.

The sportswear company already have a similar deal in place with Australian side Brisbane Roar, while Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil and Celtic’s Moussa Dembele have both been pictured wearing Supacore compression shorts in recent weeks.

As part of the deal, Supacore will also sponsor QPR’s ladies team.

QPR Commercial Director, Euan Inglis, commented: “We are very happy to be working with Supacore.

“The brand’s innovation and research and development have brought out some unique products which the players have embraced.”
