Blackhouse Leeds set to reopen after undergoing revamp
Blackhouse Grill restaurant and bar, better known as Grill on the Square, is set to reopen on Saturday 29th October, following a two-week refurbishment.
Steak and Seafood will lead the new menu, which also includes classic cuts mixed with a more premium selection including English Galician, Wagyu and the Big Boy cuts the restaurant is famous for.
Seared sashimi tuna and whole baked seabass fillets are the newest seafood offerings, while the menu maintains its lobster options.
The interior of the venue has also seen a revamp. Along with retaining the core features of the restaurant, an extension has seen the addition of a brand new, all-weather conservatory which increases the restaurant covers by over 20.
Operated by Living Ventures, Blackhouse Grill first came to Leeds in 2008. This past August, the restaurant committed to its site on Bond Court in Leeds city centre after signing a 25-year lease extension.
Scott Grimbleby, Blackhouse managing director, said: “We are really excited about the refresh and new menu in Leeds.
“It’s the biggest change we have seen for a number of years in Blackhouse and part of a bigger plan to refresh the brand and return it to its position as the ‘old favourite’ – somewhere our guests can hunker down, chat freely, feel comfortable and really enjoy the great food, drink and atmosphere that we are so well known for.”
