Total Fitness bulks up online presence with Prodo Digital
New focus on digital customer-engagement strategy for one of the North’s leading fitness brands
Total Fitness has launched its new flagship website, designed by leading North West digital marketing agency Prodo Digital, as the first stage in a variety of novel customer-engagement initiatives.
The health and fitness club operator is one of the North’s leading fitness brands and currently has 17 centres across the North of England and Wales. It began the Umbraco website development project with the 50-strong, Chester-based agency in June following a competitive three-way pitch.
Joanne Hallam, Group Sales and Marketing Director of Total Fitness, said: “It was clear from the outset that Prodo Digital were the ones we wanted to work with. They were able to demonstrate relevant expertise in our industry and marketplace, with a key emphasis on customer engagement.
“They also brought strong strategic thinking and engaging creative along with bags of enthusiasm, and we’re already forming a strong partnership with them.
“We’ve been extremely impressed with the design of the site both from an aesthetic look and feel but equally as importantly, from a user experience point of view. With the majority of our customers visiting the site via a mobile device it was crucial that the design was optimised for viewing from these platforms. Prodo managed the whole website project well and ensured that the delivery was on time and on budget.”
Prodo Digital’s remit includes the deployment of a medium- and long-term strategy to maximise digital engagement with the business’s existing core audience and new customers in innovative ways.
