Manchester-based HRC Law hits £1m fee income milestone

Three years after its launch, Manchester firm HRC Law has quadrupled its workspace and driven its fee income past the £1m mark.

Established in 2013 by employment solicitor Simon Whitehead, the company has relocated from a 1,400 sq ft office in Spring Gardens to 4,300 sq ft premises overlooking St Ann’s Square.

With its fee income growing by 42% to £781k last year and breaking the £1m barrier in 2016, HRC Law now plans to become a £5m firm by 2020.

Over the next four years, the company also intends to grow from five partners to 10.

Managing partner Simon Whitehead said: “It has been a busy few years but the hard work is paying off as we have not only met, but exceeded, expectations.

“Our relocation signals a new standard for where we are today and how we aim to develop tomorrow.”

He added: “HRC has always had a strong vision – to provide clarity on legal matters for our clients; we work with clients who invite us into their business as approachable partners with specialist knowledge and skills.”

Speaking further, Simon said the company looks forward to “announcing a series of important appointments that will help us to enhance our service to clients, complementing our existing offering”.

HRC Law initially focused on employment and recruitment law, but following the appointment of solicitors with various specialisms, the firm now offers corporate, commercial, dispute resolution and commercial property law services.
