Manchester’s Spatial Office Environments creates new Clerkenwell textiles showroom
North West fit-out firm Spatial Office Environments is on track for a record seven-figure turnover just two years since its launch.
The Manchester-based company pulled in £1.2m in its first 12 months, £1.7m in its second and has now forecast its 2016 revenue to hit £4m.
This week, Spatial has announced the completion of textile firm Camira Fabric’s new 1,300 sq ft showroom in Clerkenwell, London.
Filling the entire ground floor of the Poppy Building in the pedestrianised Brewhouse Yard, Spatial’s fit-out created a user-focused textile resource for fabric specifiers and designers.
The project included an open mezzanine floor overlooking the showroom’s main collaboration counter.
Paul Eatock, Spatial’s director of sales, said: “From the offset, we wanted to be a forward-thinking company, believing that anything is possible.
“Our efficient internal working practices and supplier diversity are key assets. By utilising modern working methods, we are able to fulfil large orders easily and with minimal overheads.”
Spatial worked alongside interior designer Ingo Interiors on the project.
Camira’s UK sales director, Abdul Ali, commented: “We’re thrilled to be moving into such a fantastic new location which will make it so much more convenient for customers to be able to access our full range of fabrics, whether it’s just to pick up a few samples or develop and discuss projects with our own design team.
“Spatial and Ingo Interiors have done a great job in translating and then realising our concept into a flexible, functional but above all visually stunning showroom to give us a new permanent home in Brewhouse Yard.”
Spatial Office Environments was founded in 2014 by furniture sales rep Paul Eatock, CAD (computer aided design) designer Elliott Pace, and Phil Simmonds, who has worked for years in the building and construction industry.
