£8m in academic sector contracts for travel management firm Diversity Travel

Travel management firm Diversity Travel has grown its footprint in the academic sector after securing a string of contract wins worth millions.

In the last two years, the firm said it has added a number of well-known UK institutions to its portfolio, which already includes over 100 academic institutions.

More recently, Diversity Travel has secured more than £8m in contracts with organisations such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, London School of Economics and the universities of Bradford and Hull.

The company expanded into Manchester in 2013 and has additional offices in London and Melbourne.

Diversity Travel MD Christopher Airey commented: “The growth we have seen in the academic sector is a testament to the dedication of our award-winning team who understand the intricate nature of our clients’ requirements.

“The majority of our team have worked with us for a number of years and have an unrivalled knowledge of the challenges our clients in the academic, charity and not-for-profit sectors face.”

Diversity Travel, which will celebrate its 10th year in business next year, focuses on travel management services for clients in the charity, not-for-profit and academic sectors.

Back in July, the company reported achieving year-on-year turnover growth of £9m.

Speaking further, Christopher said: “We recognise the important work being done by the charities and academic institutions we work with and we are proud to be a part of it.”
