In Touch Networks North West’s fastest growing tech company
In Touch Networks - a group of professional networks for senior executives and freelance professionals - has this week been named a winner in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, securing the top spot, as fastest growing technology company in the North West.
The business, which launched in 2013, secured the 39th spot nationally after achieving a growth rate of 454%.
In Touch Networks has turned the executive recruitment market on its head with its unique alternative to the traditional headhunter model. In the three years since launch, staff members have increased from one to 70 and its network from 21 members to 25,000.
Its sites include NonExecutiveDirectors.com, TheConsultantHub.com, WomenDirectors.com, FinanceDirectorNetwork.com and InvestorDirector.com.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50, now in its 19th year, ranks the country’s fastest growing technology companies, based on revenue growth over the last four years.
Members of the UK Technology Fast 50 programme automatically enter the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, which ranks EMEA’s 500 fastest growing technology companies.
In Touch Networks CEO, 32-year-old Matthew Roberts, said: “We are honoured to be named the fastest growing technology company in the North West, especially as such a young business.
“The secret to our success is our people, we only hire the best. Although we’re an online, data driven company that builds great technology, we are not faceless. Our customers are experienced, successful business leaders, so they only want to work with people who are committed to supporting and guiding them through the professional development process.
“We regularly analyse customer enquiries which enables us to establish themes and respond to feedback, so that the offering adapts to their needs. Customers are renewing their annual membership at a rate of 87%, which shows that the time we put into personalising our responsive service is paying off.
“We are proud of where we are today and feel excited to move further up the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 leaderboard next year.”
David Cobb, partner leading the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, said: “The Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 gives great profile to technology companies and is internationally recognised as being one of the most important business awards in the sector.
“The 2016 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 shows that tremendous growth rates are still possible, with software sectors showing particular strength, they have had the greatest amount of entries in the past four years.
“The Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 awards are an opportunity for businesses to gain recognition for their successes and achievements over the last four years.
“Deloitte’s ranking of the 50 fastest growing UK technology companies generated over £884 million in total annual revenues in the year 2015/16, employing more than 7,100 people and recorded an average four-year growth rate of 1,240 per cent, according to Deloitte.
“The awards are an opportunity for businesses to gain recognition for their successes and achievements. This year’s ranking highlights the importance of being innovative, recruiting highskilled talent and finding a niche product or service.”
