Connect Yorkshire Re-brand and New Website

Connect Yorkshire are proud to announce that on their 15th Anniversary, they are changing their brand and launching a new website as well as increasing their membership benefits for business owners in Yorkshire.

In 2001, Connect Yorkshire was formed to help Yorkshire companies raise the funding they needed to grow.

Connect Yorkshire were helped to do this with money from the regional development agency, Yorkshire Forward, and with money and time from many of Yorkshire’s professional service firms. When Yorkshire Forward closed in 2010/11, Connect Yorkshire created the Connect Gazelles which was an entirely different business model but the with the same aim of helping Yorkshire companies grow in this case by learning from Yorkshire’s most successful entrepreneurs, The Connect Gazelles was the only trading business of Connect Yorkshire which was, and remains, a not for profit organisation.

Today

To better reflect the fact that the organisation operates throughout Yorkshire, we have decided to revert to the name of Connect Yorkshire and to adopt an entirely new brand and a new website.

Its mission and business model remains the same as the Connect Gazelles. Connect Yorkshire is a membership group with 3 main parts. Approx 80 of Yorkshire’s most successful entrepreneurs, our Entrepreneurs in Residence, give free time to its members. 270 plus members (Yorkshire based business owners) receive the benefit of free mentoring and a monthly Masterclass from those Entrepreneurs in Residence. The third part is one professional service firm from 5 sectors who get exclusive access to the members for their profession.
