B2B Marketing Challenges Report 2017
Fox Agency has today released its latest annual report looking at the biggest challenges B2B marketers will face in 2017.
As with previous Fox Agency Marketing Challenges Reports, interviews with key industry marketers from key B2B brands were used to define the challenges affecting the year ahead.
This insight has been distilled into 10 key chapters on separate issues for marketers. These chapters include:
•The importance of communicating the stories from market research
•Taking inspiration from B2C marketing tactics
•Using virtual reality to boost event attendance and engagement
•Why PR and SEO are intertwined and the importance of getting them both right
•Hacking attacks on brands, where no company is safe
•Using artificial intelligence to improve communication with customers
•Why social media can work for B2B brands, and bring sales too
•The growth of podcasts and potential B2B uses
•Why print media still matters, in a digital world
David Clare, Director at Fox Agency says,
“In our 2016 Challenges Report we predicted use of video would increase, email would not die and helped introduce the concept of the micro-moment to B2B marketers. While many of the challenges from our previous report still exist today, we hope more marketers are over-coming them, and it is now time to focus our attentions on those challenges facing us in 2017. Interestingly, technology is a real driver of the challenges we’ve discussed in our latest report. It isn’t just social media, podcasts or threats of hacking; technology we thought to exist only in the future is now available to marketers to use today. Virtual reality and artificial intelligence offers an entirely new way to speak to customers and stakeholders, and the biggest challenge of 2017 will be getting this right, so people want to experience marketing in this way, rather than it feel like a gimmick”.
Each of the ten challenges is discussed in detail in the report, which launches today and is available at www.fox.agency/2017.
